Funniest comment Ive heard tonight. Mark Shields on the capital gang said:
George Bush has created more gay weddings than manufacturing jobs as president.

The analyst from Ohio mentioned the ballot initiative to ban gay marriages, and the rural Christian conservatives will overwhelmingly support it. Shields used that window to jab regarding job loss.

You could tell sweet Kate O'Beirne knows Georgie's fate. She used her Outrage of the Week to claim "the media voted early this year," supposedly favoring Kerry by ignoring his contradictions while savaging Bush. I can't remember her colorful phrase describing the media mistreatment of Bush, because I was trying not to collapse in a seizure of laughter.
