Albuquerque Journal endorses the Shithead *
http://www.abqjournal.com/opinion/1OP10-31.HTM

It wasn't a big surprise because they are a heavily repuglican paper, but it still makes me want to gag. It looks like their endorsement was copied and pasted straight from the list of Bush and RNC talking points.

All I know is first thing monday, we're gonna cancel our supscription.

1. I don't get it
How can a state be 50% Democratic and vote for Bush? Is it Catholics and abortion, or what?

4. This paper is heavily republican
It's owned privately by a very rich family here and I guess they like their tax cut.

It makes me sick and we'll be subscribing to the ABQ tribune who rightly endorsed kerry.

8. who cares
It won't make a difference. Bush is going to lose our state and go back to crawford and be a cowboy. A wood chopin horseless cowboy.

17. What a bummer....
Which of the two papers has a higher circulation?

The Anchorage Daily News makes their endorsement for president and U.S. Senator tomorrow morning.

After one of the people from Boise posted on here the endorsement from the Idaho Statesman, I sent it to our paper to show them that even RED states don't always endorse the Republican. The Associate Editor sent me back a great e-mail saying that he thought it was awesome that the Statesman didn't cave into area pressure there.

I'm still guessing Bush will get the nod in Anchorage only because of oil drilling. I dunno though?

I'm REAALLLLY anxious to see who they'll be endorsing for U.S. Senate though!! I'm hoping like hell they endorse Tony Knowles!! :) I have a feeling they will.. but we'll see in the morning!

19. The morning Journal unfortunately
The tribune is a small afternoon paper that is kept afloat because they have a joint operating agreement with the journal.

Good luck in getting Knowles in the senate by the way.
