Paid Republican canvassers stealing Kerry signs and
bundling non partisan judical races in with partisan races, has been reported to our election commission. We have witnesses who are willing to testify, and some who can identify the thieves. People were bringing in the RNC door hangers to complain and get another sign.

We are going to stick it to them.

We are already pissed at them for charging steachers for materials for mock elections.

1. Down here, South Florida
Delray Beach and Boca Raton, someone took every sign down on a well travelled road; there must have been a couple hundred.

Both campaign headquaters are on that road and both parties had signs on both sides for a couple miles. Friday morning, ALL the Kerry/Edwards signs were down.

4. They stole them all on one a main thouroughfare here in Denver...
I realized it driving home very late the other night. I drive it 3-4 time a day. They had all been there just few hour earlier. I think they were waiting for traffic to subside.

I was driving a rented 15p van at the time...I'm glad I didn't see 'em. I was so pissed...I kept visualizing ramming them with my van. I would've probably killed them. Not my intention...but pulling a Capn Crunch with a massive van was not going to give them a mild case of whiplash.

5. Yea my sign got stolen the other day
Republicans are so much in favor of people's right that they take it upon themselves to tresspass on my property and steal my sign. Within hours after they took it, I put another one up. It doesn't really bother me, since it shows how desperate they are. What DOES bother me is that this sad bastard came into MY yard in broad daylight WHILE I WAS HOME. Part of me wants to stay at home through Tuesday just to watch who takes the new sign so I can go after him with my Louisville Slugger.

Maybe not, tho.

7. They caught the guy who was stealing signs in Asheville, NC
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 10:26 PM by gtrump
I'd already had stolen several that I'd paid for, so I printed a bunch on my own using waterproof map paper. They were gone the next day. Signs didn't last more than three days in my neighborhood. Only one * sign was taken down that I could see; I lost a total of 24.

Turns out the guy who was stealing them is an NRA member and a Republican. And of course, nothing happened to him.
