Bush's Damning March 2002 Statement
To me, this statement undercuts all of Bush's "Monday Morning Quarterbacking" crap. After hearing from all my conservative friends how Osama is sick, dying, or dead.. even after I tell them there are reports that he has recovered from his bullet wound and is in fact healthy.. the fact is that Bush himself STATED THAT THE CAPTURE OF OSAMA IS NO LONGER IMPORTANT, WHILE JOKING ABOUT NOT HEARING FROM HIM LATELY..

*****
Q (March 13, 2002): Mr. President, in your speeches now you rarely talk or mention Osama bin Laden.  Why is that? . . .

Bush: So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him , Kelly, to be honest with you. . . .

Q:  But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive?

Bush: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I  --  I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him.  I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.

1. Here is the proof that is true, print it and photocopy it,
Go to http://somnamblst.tripod.com to download high resolution TIF or PDF files to print and distribute. Hand them out and or attach them to utility poles, bus stops, phone booths, car windshields, etc. Guerilla marketers needed to create MAXIMUM BUZZ!

3. Yes, Bush was so worried about OBL running Afghanistan that
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 05:35 PM by Old and In the Way
when he became pResident:

(1) He took the attack subs off station in the Persian Gulf that were there to hit OBL and the AQ terrorists.

(2) Stopped the recon drones from flying in Afghanistan.

(3) Mentioned Al Qaeda once before 9/11.

(4) Shitcanned the Hart-Rudman bipartisan report that made recommendations to strengthen out internal security.

Bush was too busy enjoying his vacations before 9/11 and planning his Iraqi War to worry about the real warnings on terror. No wonder he sat there in the school, clueless as to what to do.....he knew at that moment that he had totally blown it.

Only an idiot would vote to retain a person who has proven his complete incompetence to be President.
