Fox News panel predicts narrow Kerry win
By 3-2, the Sunday Fox Bulls and Bears panel predicted a narrow Kerry win, with Chris Wallace saying that as of today, Kerry has 268 electoral votes and needs only 2 more from a swing state. Four of the five think there will be less than two points between winner and loser, with one predicting a popular vote win for Bush but an EV win for Kerry.

3. If the Freepers say this
it is because they are preparing their deluded followers for the inevitable on Nov 2.

10. Rove likes a sense of inevitability about his candidate winning
But who knows what's going on? This last week isn't going according to their playbook (they stepped in Al-Qaqaa).

19. I Disagree, It Is Demoralizing To Here This Now.
The only people "stoked" to vote for Junior at this point are inveterate Freepers.

8. Suddenly the popular vote will be everything to the Republicans
It will be totally undemocratic to go with the electoral vote after Nov 2nd.

It does not matter that it contradicts everything they said 4 years ago.

They pulled this during the CA recall election roaring about how undemocratic a court interfering with an election is.

And since they have the biggest mixed forum voice they usually win those kinds of battles.

We will need to be ready to fight for this on the mixed boards and chat rooms. BTW, help boost our numbers by working the mixed boards from now to Tuesday, if you do nothing else!

We didn't think they could steal an election in 2000. We need to consider the possibility this year.

At the very least it will give them time to allow that 3rd Pearl Harbor they will need to keep power and start the draft they so dearly want.

18. You know, I've been thinking this too
They're going to argue that it's one thing to elect (HA!) a president w/ a minority of the popular vote when there's no incumbent BUT, well, you can't unseat a sitting president w/out a popular vote mandate.

I've been waiting for them to pull this for weeks now.

11. First My Sox Win and Now Pigs are Flying!!!!!!!!!
Hey, we are having one goddamn swinging party up here right now----5 million rocking in Boston and we have Sox parties going on all over New England today. That isn't good news, though, for Kerry because New Englanders might not sober up in time to vote on Tuesday and then the 'church ladies' will vote Bush in!!!!!!!!!!!!!
