I think we (me included) went ballistic over the tape because we know we had it won - this little segment reminded me that the tape is more an internet/media boomlet - we still have it won -
when I was doing door-to-door campaigning. It was so frustrating. "Well I know Bush hasn't done a great job with the economy or in Iraq, but I'm voting for him for moral issues."
It's like banging your head up against a wall. I asked if she was aware that Kerry goes to church every Sunday. She said yes, but she felt Bush was more in line with her morals.
I think she meant that she doesn't like gay people because she suggested that I talk to her gay neighbors as they'd be a more friendly audience.
there's always a few gop ringers in there. after the debates msrnc or the like conducted one of these "undecided" panels and one of the web sites found out that one of the "undecideds" was a local gop chairman.
