The news from Texarkana, where I am volunteering.

The place is HOPPING with Democrats.

They are calling their voters a SECOND time. This area has been so well worked, it's unbelieveable.

Phone conversation with voter: "I'll go vote, don't you worry about me. You couldn't keep me away from the polls if it rained, snowed, or hailed live frogs."

The DNC just put a $250,000 ad buy into Arkansas.

Clinton, Little Rock, Sunday evening.

Polls are neck and neck.

I have a feeling the state will be blue again.

4. My daughter and I started a weekend GOTV phone banking effort here

in White County tonight. We got some wonderful comments too. Yesterday, at the water co., where I had stopped to pay my bill, as I came out, a lady yelled at me "Where did you get that sticker?" Thinking she was talking about my K/E bumpersticker, I told her I had an extra. Then, I stopped and said "Which one?" She said "The NO MO BUSH". I told her I got it at Dem headquarters. I didn't have an extra one of those, but I gave her a K/E one. She put it on her truck right there.

One more report: My daughter has been working really hard on some of her fellow students at ASU-Beebe. One came to her Wednesday and said she had switched and voted for Kerry - it was because of the missing weapons.

You just don't know how much I hope we can pull this off. ARKANSAS FOR KERRY/EDWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!! I will jump for joy and be wildly ecstatic.

I'm so annoyed with these posts. Zogby's the ONLY pollster showing Bush with a lead...and he's WRONG. Dead Wrong.

and let me tell you, that report is beautiful to hear and confirms what I've been sensing for awhile now. No matter how many Shrub signs out there (mostly on the Texas side), I really think Ark-side and Miller County could pull for Kerry!

And with Blanche Lincoln and Mike Ross coming in Monday, that should be a nice boost... ;)

sweet to hear a report from T-Town! You guys have done a great job with canvassing and phone banking from what I've seen when I've dropped in. Keep it up this weekend!
