The OBL tape is a distraction. It's well timed and it was obviously released for political purposes. I really think that it's very convenient that this was brought up now.

Do I think OBL is on the Bush payroll? I have no idea, but I'd venture a guess that Rove was the one that leaked the tape to Al Jazeera.

Whatever. It's irrelevant. There is little we can do regarding this tape other than write to news organizations telling them to stop saying that Kerry's campaign is over because of this.

What we CAN and MUST still do from now until Tuesday is work on GOTV. That's all that matters at this point. It's still close. DOn't let people get discouraged. We can still win this. Early voting results are looking very good.

Don't let this take away the momentum. Don't worry about cable news whores. Let's all do what we can to surprise the hell out of them.

Remind those you meet that this shows what a failure Bush is, that this is evidence that he took his eye off the ball to go into Iraq, that the man they say masterminded the attacks is still alive and well.

2. Well no one who is watching needs a reminder of what a failure *bush is,
but we are on DU and there we have people who are aware. Many do need reminding. *bush is a pop tart.

3. Good advice for life, still.....
the wait until the results from Tuesday come in is going to be difficult. I've done more this election cycle than any in the past. I have been voting in primaries and general elections since 1962. I don't remember an election like this, not even 1968. I think chimpie is toast, but I really have little more than hopes to base that on. The GOTV campaigns should be the difference. About 96 hours until AM, Tuesday, then waiting until late that night for the results. Since I live in the Pacific Time Zone, I don't have to late a wait.

back, doesn't take a rocket scientist ey?

Do I think OBL is on the Bush payroll? I have no idea, but I'd venture a guess that Rove was the one that leaked the tape to Al Jazeera.
