Oct. 27) -- The wet weather did not dampen the spirits of those who wanted to cast their ballots early. Wednesday more than 11,000 people in Clark County turned out for early voting.
Both the Republican and Democratic parties say whoever wins this presidential election will be determined by who gets more people out to the polls.
Early voter Tanya Dilisio decided Wednesday was the day her voice would be heard. "I came right after work, and there's no lines and it's great." Dilisio says she tries to vote early during every election. "I don't want to wait in line and I'd rather just get it done with."
So far more than 194,000 people have cast their ballots since early voting began on Oct. 16. Of those, 86,000 were Democrats and nearly 79,000 were Republicans. Although the early turn out is great, it still means nearly 500,000 active registered voters in Clark County have yet to make it to the polls
