Bush has to win both FL and OH or he is dead meat.
If Kerry get OH he just has to keep most of the Gore states, not even all. He could take NH, give Bush WI and still win with OH! Kerry may be defending more Gore states than Bush is defending his, but FL and OH make 47 EVs! No matter how they spin it Kerry will not loose HI, PA, MI, MN, or NJ. Bush is the one on the freakin ropes!

1. don't let the poll cherry pickers fool you
Kerry is well ahead in Michigan and NJ, MN and Hawaii are close than expected but he's in no real danger of losing either.

2. If Kerry wins OH,
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 09:55 PM by BullGooseLoony
we need 12 more EVs from Gore states WI, IA, and NM (we HAVE Minnesota), PLUS we could get WV, NV, NH, Arkansas and, who knows, maybe even AZ (not likely, but still). We only need 12 more EVs.

If we win FL, we only need five more.

3. Bush will NOT win Ohio, democrats outregistered new voters
in some areas 10 to 1.

FL is fixed we know better than depending on it, I have a feeling that Florida is being watched closely.

Damn I can not wait until next Tuesday, the whole world will celebrate Kerry's victory.

10. Exactly what I heard from insiders - Kerry wins OH, * gets FLA
I heard 6:1 new registrations in Ohio so I'm feeling good about that.

5. I have Bush losing even with Ohio and Florida
I have Kerry 318 and chimp 220 even with chimp stealing OH and FL.

That's because I think that AR, CO, NM, and AZ are going blue.

6. Actually not
Reasonable scenario :

Kerry wins most of the Gore states including NM and NH but loses IA and WI. Kerry also takes OH but now has a total of only 267.

13. It is reasonable. If we lose IA and WI, how do we win?
267 with OH and losing FLA.

Split EVs in Colorado could be enough - but it probably won't pass

Where do we get those 3 EVs?

7. Won't lose OH
We won't lose OH. We're mobilized and ready. I'm most worried about the upper Midwest and hope that ACT, the Dems, anyone frankly is doing what it takes on the ground to hold WI, IA and maybe MN.

Upper Midwesterners, reassure me please!!!

:o

14. Thanks for the Good Vibes!
I do great keeping positive during the day but get more anxious as night falls. Go figure. Thanks Cheesehead and Cats for the good news and zidzi for the howdy. I'm confident about OH but won't let down my guard. I'm canvassing 4 hrs Sat, 4 hrs Sun, phonebanking Mon and working however they need me all day Tues. It's a ground swell - I certainly won't be lonely! :kick:

15. Most EV's have chimpy ahead
The chimp is going to take FL, Jeb will see to it, there are too many toss-ups, I am hopeful but not cocky. Repugs have big plans for voter suppression
