and Tuesday according to ABC, and Sat and Sun both are still in the poll now.

Turnout, of course, is key in a close race, and this one is: Same as the last two days, 49 percent of likely voters support Kerry and 48 percent favor Bush in the latest ABC News tracking poll, with 1 percent for Ralph Nader.

Today's result is from Saturday-Tuesday interviews, of which Monday and Tuesday nights were better for Bush, and Saturday and Sunday were two of Kerry's three best days since this tracking poll began Oct 1. A three-day average, excluding Saturday, shifts the numbers ever so slightly to 49 percent to 48 percent Bush-Kerry, still essentially a dead heat between them.

Be prepared, the media will spin a Bush comeback surge.

1. well....
that means kerry will have to have a very good day tomorrow to keep the lead. The fact that its even this close portends well for our side. Keep the faith.

2. Not really.
Remember how poorly the polls reflect the electorate in this election. There's more danger from the media spinning this than from bush having a lead within the margin of error on the polls.

3. President Clinton showed up on Monday
that should have been a bounce day - or so I thought.

Let's see what the other polls show for Monday...
