I was scrolling across the radio dial and caught Shammity today, who was reading a report from FauxNews producer named Dana Lewis that he was just handed. Dana used to work for NBC and was embedded with the troops during the layover at al Qaqaa. Basically, the statement recounted how he/she this was basically just a pit stop on the way to Baghdad (as we know) and the field officer was not happy about stopping at all.
In the prepared statement, as read by Shammity, Dana mentions that al Qaqaa was a mammoth installation, one wall seemingly extending a mile long. The place was deserted. Spent artillery was scattered about and there was severe damage to some of the buildings. ...
*Shammity* then announces that there were seals on many of the buildings and doors and he/she didn't think anyone really investigated what was being stored there. AND "based on the condition of the facility, it was not likely that anything was removed before the troops arrived."
HOLY SHIT! Shammity, in his haste to lob another smear grenade against Kerry stumbles onto the truth. He was so obviously flummoxed by the whole thing and tried desperately to gloss over that line and the direction of the account. Then he quit reading and launched into his typical tirade about Kerry, who will do or say anything to be president.
Anyone else catch this? "Dana" is scheduled to appear on TV tonight i think. Wonder what will be reported, after Ailes finishes with the script.
