Republicans trying to suppress Florida Democratic vote.
This morning I received a recorded phone call from someone claiming to be from the Democratic Party of Lee County. His message was that I could vote early, or on Nov. 2, at the Martin Luther King Community Center, here in Fort Myers. I assume that these recorded messages are being made to all registered Democrats in this area.

Just one thing wrong with this. There are three locations in Lee County for early voting, but they do NOT include the M.L. King Community Center! Moreover, my polling place is located two miles in the opposite direction from the Center. As it happens, I have already voted early at the County Elections Office so this will not affect my vote.

But it seems clear that the intent is to cause confusion, getting people to go to a location where they cannot vote; and thereby discouraging some people from learning where they are supposed to vote, and causing them to give up. This is outrageous! It shows me how desperate these people are to steal Florida for Bush - again!

I have tried to call the Democratic Party of Lee County to report this, but have been unable to get through to them so far.

2. Keep working on them
and call up the local paper, radio stations(esp your local public station) and TV.
It's suppression and misdirection.

3. You can't vote early on Nov 2; here at any rate, you have to vote
in your own precinct on election day.

6. Call the M.L. King Center and tell them about it so they can be
prepared to re-direct the people. All they need is the phone number for the supervisor of elections. As the people come in, call the SoE and have them give them their address so they can be directed to the correct precinct.
