Anybody else think Kerry should FIRST make a trip to Iraq?

I do.

I believe within a month of taking office Kerry should make a publicly announced visit to Iraq, not in the middle of the night like Shrub! I think should first begin letting the troops know he is behind them and visit them in the field...sit and have dinner and an open discussion with them. Let them voice their concerns and be as straight forward and honest with them IN PERSON as Kerry can be. If Kerry does this, the myth of only Republicans "supporting" our military will be erased....


Besides, Kerry's been in a combat zone before! Don't think he'll get rattled too much!

but to speak with the Iraqi people (not our appointed elites) apoligize to them for the monsters destruction and promise them just what he is promising us jobs healthcare, security.

8. Exactly! I think he should apologise too,

on behalf of the American people who had no say in the murders of all the innocents. He should make it clear that we do NOT want their oil. He should try to convince them that he really wants to put things right, fix what Bush broke, kick out the no-bid contract whores, and employ Iraqi people to rebuild their country.

It may stop the insurgency long enough for them to see he's sincere.
