I am convinced that all the media polling Bush ahead are doing it to keep
Bush from having a nervous breakdown before Nov. 2. They keep telling the king that his clothes are beautiful. Otherwise, Bush's volitile nature would send him into tailspin that even his handlers would not be able to control. He looks prime for a breakdown on slightest bad news. The news about the missing explosives has sent him to the edge. They were keeping that news from him most of the day but wait until tomorrow when it has sunk in his empty head. He and Cheney will be lashing out with some of the most vicious diatribes against Kerry and it will make them look like the scum they really are. That's my opinion.
is the Nov 2. Bush is heading for a total defeat. You can tell the media, and fox propaganda machine are all getting desperate. Bush is trying to hold on to his last straw the 9/11 to install fear in votes' mind. Bush keeps saying that Kerry is not going to be strong enough against terror. Give me a break who is he to judge Kerry, Bush failed pre 9/11 to protect America and failed post- 9/11 to capture the enemy who attacked America.
(a) the media love conflict. The story is more interesting if the race is close, so they are more likely to promote the polls that are closer then the race might really be. (b) likely voter profile the pollsters are using do not reflect the increase in turnout everyone expects. Large turnout typically helps the Dem's.
10. I think they are doing it because they want to keep voter turnout low

They're trying to discourage Dems from coming out on Nov 2. and what better way really? Trying to make us think it's hopeless. But if what I saw tonight happens on Nov 2, it's the pukes that will be staying home and Kerry will win in a landslide!
