I want to donate $ for the cause, need advice
I live in Massachusettes, so my state doesn't need help electing democrats. Dem Senatorial Commitee? DNC?
I'm thinking Ohio Dems - would really like my donation to go where it is really needed.
I saw a post about Wisconsin just now, opinions?

9. You see, I am in DeLay's district and wouldn't recommend giving
money. I voted today (for his opponent Morrison) but this is such a repug district I think a dead horse could beat Morrison (I would love to eat a shoe to make it different). See my post starting "Nobody wants to pay attention to this guy PLEASE...

This guy has CALCULATED SCIENTIFICALLY where money can best be used in tight races.

2. Depends on how much money you have.
I suggest:

DNC
ACT
Election Protection
Move-on
In pretty much that order.

3. betty castor in Florida
she's neck and neck with Mel Martinez to replace Bob Graham. Helping Betty GOTV will also help Kerry win Florida.

4. moveon.org, ohio dems, FL dems
moveon has their PAC and is getting the money into the field with some good ads

FL dems might be a nice choice, cuz I assume they'll be running an ad showing the endorsement for Kerry of the only four major newspapers that endorsed this year.

OH is cruicial state of course and has an active Dem party machine at work.

pay attention. This incredible Princeton statitician (and Democrat) has done all kinds of incredible calculations showing EXACTLY where you should put your money for the most bang for your buck. He also has another site that shows what state you should go to for best impact in GOTV efforts.

12. http://actblue.com/
The site — which takes its name from the designation of red (Republican) versus blue (Democratic) states — tells you what congressional and Senate Democratic candidates are in close races, and then lets you donate money to those candidates with a few clicks
