Just got back from the Kerry rally in Philly!! UPDATED W/PICS

it was phenomenal!

i dont care what the "media" says...there over 125,000 easily and it felt soo good to be among so many FIRED UP democrats!

philly adores bill...and loves kerry! we broke into the kerry chant at least 5 times during his speech. the unions were very well represented as well as the african american community.

not sure how to post images here, but if someone explains i'll put them up...i have some very good ones too!

come back and look at your preview again (the url won't change)

9. Just got back myself! Wow! What a rush!

It was pretty intense where I was. So Packed! Like a hundred thousand sardines trying to clap... I was about halfway back, in the "don't have special tickets, but got there early" section. There is so much love for Clinton in Philly, which I knew as a local, but to see it in action is something else.

I was also fortunate enough to be there at the door as Bill left the event and drove off with his entourage. But even more interesting, about an hour or more later, I got to see Kerry leave with Jon Bon Jovi. I was so close, but WOW security isn't foolin around. A sharp shooter in the front with the window down and a gun pointed out the window, and Kerry and Bon Jovi in the back. Not to mention the parade of motorcycles, police cars and vans, all ready to clear a path through rush hour traffic on the way to Philly International.

It was tough to do on a Monday workday, especially since it's a slog through rush hour both ways through both Wilmington and Philly, but it was so worth the time and sacrifice to be a part of this. Presidents 42 and 44 in the city of love. Ahhh, History.
