Dobbs says Gallup gives * a 5-point lead among LV
Schneider to provide details later in the program.

At this point in the 2000 campaign (8 days out) Gallup had us down 13 points. So I guess we really will win in a landslide.

2. They give a 5 point lead so the repukes won't lose hope and stay home
In the past few weeks the conservative media has been trying to hand onto the voters they have. By weeks end they will have given up.

6. Maybe they will be like the Dallas Cowboys during the Superbowel
sitting on a couch watching it on TV.

Will the Chimp give up, I don't even think he knows he is in danger.

4. Another thread reveals the bias in Gallup's polls
Their sample includes many more Republicans than Democrats. Interpret their results accordingly.

11. We really should have a rule about stating methodology
when throwing up - pun intended - poll numbers on DU. The methodology is everything.

12. That was good
He also got Schneider to mention the new WP tracking poll (which has Kerry up 49-48) and to say that this race is too close to call.

14. Gallup: 49-47 among registered voters.
Don't be so sure that there will be a GOP edge among likely-vs-registered this time. I think the registered figure is much closer.

15. This is GREAT FOR DEMS

If we think we got this in the bag, we get complacent.

The media, in placating to the wingnuts, is actually keeping the Dems motivated.

What does worry me is the election has already been determined, vote counts and all and the media propaganda is simply part of the trick to steal another election and annoint the Dim Son emperor.
