Should Kerry minimize fear factor by dumping the color-coded alerts ?
The Bush crowd have used these alerts very effectively to keep the people fearful and on edge since 9/11. Should Kerry publically announce that he will get rid of the color-coded alerts for another system? Have there been any polls on the popularity of these alerts? Personally, I think it would be a good first step to returning ot some sense of "normalcy" - because we should not have to live like this. Terrorism is a serious problem for our nation but we should not be so obsessed with safety and fear that we forget we are Americans.

5. He Will Also Localize Alerts For Legitimate Threats
Instead of a national alert, which is the most friggin' moronic system known to man.

3. Yes, because they do no good.
I mean, does anyone become "more alert" when the color changes? Seriously? And if so, are these people seeing some sort of professional about their problem?
