Kerry-Edwards Supporter Videotapes Campaign Sign Thief

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Kerry-Edwards supporter in Indialantic, Fla., who was tired of having her campaign signs stolen set up a surveillance camera and videotaped someone stealing signs from her yard, according to a Local 6 News report.

Barbara Gillis thought that children were stealing the Kerry-Edwards signs in her yard so she set up a camera in her home's window.

The camera videotaped an older man in white tennis shoes pulling up to her house, taking the sign and then driving off.

"I was shocked to see him run up on the lawn and grab the sign and get back in (a sport utility vehicle)," Barbara Gillis said. "It is not the cost of the signs or the time it took to get the sign. What it is is that these people are coming in to our yard and stealing our opinion."
