NPR/Fox Williams says internal polls show JK leading in FL, OH, PA
The Democrats have more voters to get out, in general.
Expect 126 Million voters vs. 106 Million in 2000. The Dem base is mobilized. Stem Cell Research is getting a tremendous response as is Flu Shots and reinstating the draft.

Caveat: I like the news, but I still won't post what Juan Williams says as "news". Commentary, maybe. Spin, yes.

2. This may be the new Repug spin
Kerry winning, makes our people complacent and gets out thier vote. I like the news but I'll take it with a little salt on the side.

3. Juan Williams On The Whole Is A Good Fella
He usually defends the Dems against the fascists at FOX...

That's like defending Jews against the Nazis...

4. Williams is a lame substitute for Ray Suarez who left for PBS-Newshour
Like Cokie Roberts, he lazily or purposely plants Right-wing talking points into his reports.

11. LOL
Defending democrats on FOX is a thankless (and worthless) job. They hire real hardcore liberals like Juan Williams and Alan Colmes (HAHAA, even thinking of his name makes me crack up).

My favorite "Liberal" of them all is probably Mara Liason or Mort Kondrake! He's a raging liberal!

13. That analogy goes too far...
If I find the Dems too consevative and I think you're going too far, then you most certainly are.

McAuliffe spoke at Maine's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner and he said NH, NJ, PA, FL, and OH had Kerry in the lead and Colorado was tied.

14. Everything over 110 million is John Kerry's
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 08:07 AM by louis c
If the turnout surpasses 120 million, Kerry will win easy.

Up to 110 million, it's a draw, after that, every 3 million votes is a 1 point Kerry gain. 113, Kerry by 1 point, 116, Kerry by 2 points 119, Kerry by 3 points and that's an easy win.

10. Juan Williams is a Colmes, i.e. a wimpy, faux Dem.
Most of the time Juan is on Faux getting gang banged by Brit Hume and pals. Sickening. Don't know what to make of anything he says.

15. Do not underestimate the power of $2/gal gasoline
Undecideds, along with everyone else, are reminded of this every time they pull up to the pump. If all thing are equal to them pocketbook issues come into play.

I personally think this is eating away at bush's reelection chances as much as anything else.

16. Williams saying that on FAUX can only mean 1 of 2 things
1) It's an understatement and the internals have Kerry winning all of those states easily.

2) FAUX has instructed him to say something unrue or exaggerated to motivate rethugs.

Sadly, I vote for the latter.

I call him "Fox" Williams to keep reminding people that he works for Fox News Network. Sort of like "Fox" Muldaur on the Xfiles

24. An AURA OF KERRY INEVITABILITY
I see why people keep saying "a perception of an easy JK win will depress our vote and motivate theirs". But we are smarter than that aren't we? I think we can still stay motivated and create an aura of inevitability at the same time. I would think it depresses THEIR vote. If they think Kerry has it in the bag, they might not show up...or better, throw themselves behind a third party. Plus, independents want to vote for winners. If they think Kerry will win, they don't want to be on the losing side.

So why can't we just trust that OUR side is smart enough to spread a confident message of Kerry by a LANDSLIDE and still expect our base to be smart enough to show up?
