CSPAN : Caller admits support for Bush efforts to Christianize Iraq
Nice job...who ever did this one...I think it was one of us...but the point was made effectively.

The caller used the words "religious war". Basically he said he supports George Bush's efforts to Christianize Iraq and the entire mid-east.

He also seemed anxious for this to become a world war...

Unashamed.

Said something to the effect "We finally have a stronghold over there..."

Very clever...it sounded like the shit those folks spew...but the caller managed to make it sound like everyday political chat...scary...and effective IMO...

Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 07:36 AM by mharris660
and send him in to spread the gospel, while he's there have him send home the "My son went to Iraq and all I got was this beheading video" T-shirt. When will these people learn they don't want us or our religion in their lives.

4. I haven't watched CSPAN the last couple of days
Do you know if they've brought up the poll that shows Bush supporters to be ignorant? Any calls about it?

5. That whole session with the WaTimes religion reporter was
so biased. The woman was clearly a * supporter and kept trying to push the idea that *'s faith was a natural part of him and he doesn't use it as a political device, and that JK only recently started using it as a political ploy.

6. Well the faith base groups were sent in at the start.
'The fundamentalists' mean every one to be of their beliefs. So the world must become open markets and born again Christians. We shall see.Interesting Bush last tax cut for corp was signed with out us seeing it and we can not get the figures on how much money he has given to the faith base groups, Anyone interested in those things? It is your money.

7. I love listening to those Jesus Freaks calling in...
They only embarass themselves and their candidate.

Anyone seen the movie Saved? Light-hearted slam against zealots, imo.

8. funny if it weren't so medieval
NOW they have this guy who's promoting a video coming out next week, showing how SWELL things really are in Iraq

Voices of Iraq....

looks like more RW propaganda

Archie Drury, funded by Mark Kuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks

check it out

showing clips of the movie: interesting footage, shot by Iraqis on the streets,

Drury is now calling F 911 very biased, while his movie, he claims, is not

I googled Voices of Iraq, and ALL the opinion sites that came up were right wing, so you be the judge

13. Everything is wine and roses in Iraq
No need for more troops.

Our own troops aren't dying 3/day.

Iraqis aren't dying by dozens in car bomb attacks.

The oil is flowing freely.

Every child walks the street to school w/o any fear of kidnapping.

Electricity is available 24/7.

There are no sewage problems.

There are no regressions to Taliban-like control in some cities.

9. Ever notice you can substitute the word "Jesus" everytime Bush says...
..."Freedom"

I dont think this is unintentional. It's his way of cryptically communicating with his followers.

"They Hate Jesus"

"Jesus honors and unleashes human creativity -- and creativity determines the strength and wealth of nations. Liberty is both the plan of Heaven for humanity, and the best hope for progress here on Earth."

"Jesus can be the future of every nation."

"Working for the spread of Jesus can be hard."

"Jesus is finding allies in every country; Jesus finds allies in every culture."

"Jesus will find a way"

10. It is the Ann Coulter doctrine
You remember her friendly message to the Arab world: "Invade their countries, kill all their leaders, and convert them to Christianity".
