There Is A Letter On Media Matters
from anonymous Sinclair employee says that Sinclair may air this stupid special several times. Here's the url where the letter is located.

Now I know from what I've read from those who saw it that it wasn't as bad as we had feared, but we shouldn't let these muck-rakers get away with mutiple showings.

There must be something we can do.

:think:

1. It's A Dud...Let This Go To The Next Level
Now, let's see if Sinclair violated FEC violations with this special. Let's see how the stockholders liked all the negative publicity that led to this company's stock to sink to an all-time low and promising to go down even further. Then there's the lawsuits that have been filed and the investigations into the company's financing. Add in a lot of disgruntled employees who will be coming forward as this train rolls down the tracks.

Broadcasting has long faced a similar situation as the airlines. It was deregulated with disregard to the long term stability of the airwaves. This company stands at an abyss of it's own making, and now they've opened the Pandora's box that will lead to its ultimate ruin. It may take a year or three, but the writing's on the wall.

Let 'em run this thing 24/7 all weekend...seems like the Freepers thought it was a campaign special favoring Kerry (sheesh...LOL)...and from what I hear it was watered down. Even if it was that damning, it's so late in the game to affect many minds out there. If anything, it probably pissed off a bunch of folks who tuned in to see Elimidate or The Simpsons and this shit was on.

Cheers!

2. I doubt ....
..that with pending lawsuits - - - -and there will evidently be some... now that it's been aired even in part, they won't be able to air it again until going through the legal process of everything they're about to get hit with.

Remember.... Before it had aired, the FEC said it was so unprecedented, that stop-orders could be ignored allowing them to go ahead with it.

That's no longer the case now. They've now crossed a new threshold! If I were the CEO's at SINclair, I wouldn't be having a real relaxing weekend.. LOL!!

~~~~~~They're going DOWN!!~~~~ :evilgrin:
