CNN projects very tight race Bush winning EC 277 - 261
According to their projections, Kerry wins Ohio but still loses the election because of Iowa and Wisconsin.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/22/electoral.map/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush maintains a thin lead over John Kerry in the battle for electoral votes in a race so tight that, despite a national focus on three larger swing states, could be decided by states with less pull in the Electoral College, like Iowa, Wisconsin or New Mexico, a new CNN analysis indicates.

If the election were held today, Bush would win 277 electoral votes to Kerry's 261, according to a new CNN survey based on state polling, as well as interviews with campaign aides and independent analysts. The map is unchanged from last week. A candidate wins the election with 270 electoral votes, regardless of the popular vote.

Each week, CNN's political unit prepares a comprehensive analysis of the most recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup polling and public polling, combined with a look at turnout trends, interviews with strategists from both campaigns and parties, independent pollsters, and the latest campaign and party spending on advertising in the states.

Based on this analysis, CNN allocates states to each candidate to determine the breakdown of the Electoral College vote if the election were held today. The map is not a prediction of the Election Day outcome.

12. CNN is Withering- Trying to get the FAUX viewers- Buh bye
CNN is fading into the dustbin of failed networks, sinking slowly to MSNBC levels. I was a regular til they swerved rightward. I'm enjoying having the TV off, except for sports- I get my info from Air America, DU and a few blogs. I like it.

13. CNN >>> check this out
You should scan through the info on this site about CNN and why their polls and other calculations are inaccurate-

http://www.politicalamazon.com/polls.html

They also mention the r-ASS-mussen Report.. Specifically, on the poll he released stating that the military will heavily support Bush over Kerry.

They explain why polls such as CNN and r-ASS-mussen are pure bunk. :+

NM is fine. The most recent poll I know of is Zogby which has Kerry up almost a full 10 percent. (http://www.race2004.net/states.php?state=nm) The only recent ones that show * up are Gallup and M-D, which might as well be Strategic Vision, they line up so well with it.

I thought that the other district in Maine was also looking OK again.

That still leaves the IA/WI problem. What's going on with that?? I mean, if we carry FL, it's irrelevant... but it sure would be unfortunate to have to depend on that state.

On edit: But at least they're admitting that Ohio is Blue now. That must say something about what the vote there really looks like!

I might be surprised.

Hello, is anyone here still stupid enough to believe them? They're ratings are for shit, they wish enough people were listening but they are not.

We are wise this time, last time their election theft blindsided us, this time we are waiting for it.

Thanks for posting, good to actually know for a fact that that is what they whores are saying.
