Just saw the new Operation Truth Ad... YOWCH...
Has a soldier saying he was told to go to Iraq becasue of WMD's... and they weren't there. The there were connections to 9-11... and they weren't there... Then when he's asked why he lost his arm, he tries to find the words... but they aren't there...

Just floored me...

1. That one ran on our local Fox channel
during the NLCS game last night. Mr. Nownow was surprised that Fox local would run it, but I said it was all about $$$ to them -- I'm sure the DNC or whoever sponsored it paid dearly. It was probably a good placement, though. Baseball fans in SW Ohio are all over the map, politically.

6. Not DNC, done by Operation Truth (with help from MoveOn).

9. Wasn't sure who ran it -- I wasn't watching the game.
I was going crosseyed on DU, as usual. I'll send the link to the Mr. -- he was impressed with the ad.

I saw it on the site; it was so striking.

Excellent ad; so horribly true.

8. Is it? Fantastic!
With all the military bases in AZ, this should hit home with many.

11. I've seen it a few times.
I'm hoping it hits home with military families in the area too, along with everyone who supports bush's invasion. I hope it makes people stop and think, even if it's just for a moment, about how the invasion of Iraq has affected some forever.

A national disgrace, I will never say, "ok, time to forgive them" for this.
