3. Well, what do his RE-ELECT numbers look like?

Funny, they never poll on how likely you are to go vote for a candidate.

Just go to Google news and read articles on Bloomberg and the AP.

Where does it say it's above 50%? Here's one article today, and I'll have to go find the one AP put out:

10. Don't panic--Bush is still at a record low for job approval
Here's where I go

http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

Even Fox has him at only 49 percent--several others at 44 and one at 47.

The Dow Jones was at its lowest for the year TODAY. That can't be good news for the incumbent.

14. Unfortunately, many of the approval numbers are going up
Dangerously up, from a Kerry standpoint. Many over 50%. Specifically, polls that began 10/17 or later indicate a Bush uptick. Time, in particular, is up sharply over the past week. This is the site I use. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/bush_ja.html

Zobgy is not included in that sample. CBS has not been heard from in a while. Their next number will be very significant, IMO.

Time 10/19 - 10/21 53% 44% +9%
Rasmussen 10/19 - 10/21 54% 46% +8%
ABC/Wash Post 10/18 - 10/20 52% 46% +6%
AP-Ipsos 10/18 - 10/20 47% 52% -5%
Marist 10/17 - 10/19 49% 48% +1%
NBC/WSJ 10/17 - 10/18 49% 47% +2%
FOX News 10/17 - 10/18 49% 44% +5%

16. You listing "approval" numbers or election polling numbers
they are not the same thing. Besides I wouldn't touch RealClear with a 10ft poll, very biased.

17. RCP is just averages
Lets you see it all in one place.

I don't read any of his analysis, don't even know if he does any, but seeing the numbers is helpful.

18. Check the link; they are not averages or election percentages
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/bush_ja.html

They are Bush job approval ratings, listed chronologically with most recent on top. No analysis or slant from RealClearPolitics, other than Zogby doesn't seem to be listed. You can scoll down and see how the individual numbers have changed since the previous sample from the same firm.

Looking at the chart, it's distinct there has been a Bush job approval gain, for whatever assinine reason.

They probably don't include Zogby because he asks the approval question in a different way than everyone else.

20. That's a conservative site
They're probably not including Zogby because he generally has Bush at 44%-45%. So does PEW, and so does CBS. Go here.

Rasmussen has had Bush at 51%+ all year.

12. BushCo probably caught wind of the pundits
saying that incumbants with approval ratings under 50% don't get re-elected so they talked to their friends in the media to bump that rating just a tad. Fuckers.

Bush, With Approval Ratings Below 50%, Remains Tied With Kerry

Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush, whose job approval ratings are below 50 percent in most polls this week, remains tied with four-term Massachusetts Senator John Kerry with 11 days to go before the U.S. election.

Bush's approval rating averaged 48.3 percent in eight national polls released this week, with a New York Times/CBS News poll published Oct. 19 showing 59 percent of respondents said the country is on the ``wrong track.'' Bush and Kerry are statistically tied in eight polls, and four show Bush leading outside the margin of error
