The Eagle thing is nice and all, but hardly visceral and direct enough to answer the Bushie's mean-looking puppies. This would be far better:

According to the Washington Post (8/7/01) in 2001 George W. Bush was heading into Labor Day weekend of that eventful summer with a 42% vacation rate. 42% of his time in office had been spent traveling to vacation spots, boating, golfing, resting up at Camp David, or just puttering around his ranch in Texas. The wolves were at the door then as well, but this president decided it was more important to catch up on some of the things he enjoyed instead. Unfortunately, Osama bin laden didn't get in much golf that summer. He had other plans.
