Signs of a divided America in Ohio

Campaign signs, that is.

This is a pic of a duplex front yard near my house in NE Ohio.
After stopping to get the shot, I drove on wondering what day-to-day life must be like for these side by side neighbors.

Holes in the walls from gun cleaning accidents, car paint scratches, discarded mail, and flaming bags of dog crap on the doorstep came to mind in my imagined worst case scenario.




I see this tiny front yard as a postcard testimonial to the man who claimed to be a "uniter, not a divider".

1. Love the pic. Live in NH where die hard Repukes abound. Have not had

one rude comment about my buttons, bumper stickers, or signs. Have had one funny comment made about my button, but that is it since July, when I finally got them. And have had lots of great comments.
You just never know.

2. heck, we have divisions within families here

Our office manager is a liberal, but married to an ex-marine gung-ho bush koolaid drinker. I think she's probably going to vote Kerry and tell hubby she voted Bush...at least I hope that's what she does.
