Norville seems incredulous that Lieberman would risk his job for integrity
"So you lost your job as a result." In a tone that said, you're an asshole man.

1. That Is No Surprise, Sir
"Crooks have a fascination with honest men, and discuss them in the same awed tones normally reserved for mad relatives and sexual perversions."

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

7. It Is From An Odd Little Novel
"The Blue Max"

The character who says it is the Staffel adjutant, a friendly rogue with a wooden foot, if recollection serves....

14. Not Nazi, Sir
The work purports to be about air combat late in WWI, but deals actually more with alcoholism, using that as a backdrop, though that backdrop is very well realized. It is well written, and unfortunately the worthy author's name escapes my immediate recollection.

3. Yes. The thought of having principles is not within her world view
She spreads her legs for money by supporting Bush every night and can't understand why everyone else doesn't

10. No, the Sinclair employee fired for speaking out.
Also named Leiberman.

12. Bullshit. I watched the whole interview and she was very fair.
Some people automatically assume Norville is a right wing ditz - nothing could be farther from the truth.

She wasn't incredulous at all regarding Leiberman.

Then she really nailed Hyman (Sinclair honcho), and told him what he was doing was partisan, not news.

Being fair means being a centrist, which is exactly what she is.

13. Her tone was incredulous to my ear
She also was dismissive of Joe and glommed on to every word the Sinclair executive who was on to defend him said. She had a couple of faux 'hard questions' for the Sinclair dude, softballs as it were.

Funny how these things can be interpreted so differently. I dunno, that's my take.
