The 2nd debate between Barack Obama/Alan Keyes will be shown live on C-Span 2 tonight at 8:00 pm EDT/7:00 pm CDT. Should be pretty interesting TV..

4. I only WISH I could vote for Obama
However, I'm sure I will get my chance some day. He is the next Bill Clinton, I predict. I am very enamored of him.

5. This should be very interesting
I listened to the 1st debate and Keyes more than held his own. Not in the content of his views but in his delivery, talk about your smooth talkers. I swear the rebugs debate strategy is to spew so many lies in their two minutes so it will be impossible to for their opponent to even scratch the surface of a proper rebuttal.

6. So who watched it? What did you think?
I thought Alan Keyes was absolutely certifiable. WHAT A TOTAL NUT-JOB! Not that this is surprising at all. He's never come off as anything but.

And Barack Obama was wonderful, although I'll admit stumbled with his speech more than I've heard before. I loved when he said "I'm not running to be the minister of Illinois, I'm running to be a United States Senator."

7. Theater Of The Absurd, Grace
Keyes pomposity only outshined his stupidity. Besides saying that marriage was only valid for procreation and making any sense, it was a major bore. Obama was excellent, but you know he was thinking "what the hell am I doing up here".

I only wish I could trade my vote FOR Obama here for a Kerry vote in a Battleground. But then watch some freeper pick that up and say we're selling votes...LOL.

Cheers!

8. The more I think about it the more I understand
why Obama stumbled over his words a few times. Debating Keyes is like debating a ranting lunatic on a city bus. It's futile and, you're right, completely absurd. If I were in that situation I probably would've had the most confused look on my face the whole time trying to figure out what the hell Keyes was talking about and why the hell he got a Senate race confused with a tent revival.

I know it's a foregone conclusion that Obama will win, but it really was just bizarre watching that debate. Did the GOP take that guy straight from a padded room and straight jacket in order to run?
