Are you scared about this election ?
I want there to be something left of this country for my 4 year old granddaughter to grow up in. Our Democracy will be destroyed if they steal it again.

1. I am scared for the same reasons.....
you are. The polls are so close and they should not be if the voters were making an INFORMED decision.

3. I'm terrified
I'm more scared about November 2nd and the outcome than I was about going back to work in the Sears Tower on 9/12/01!

4. I voted today by absentee ballot
Well, I sent it in, anyway. The distance makes me a bit more relaxed about the whole process. Still, I am not anxious most of all because I feel a Kerry WIN coming.

It is what comes after that that begs attention.

7. I'm scared, too..............
If the repubs try to steal this election, we Democrats are not going to back down like we did in 2000. The more resolved the repubs are about re-installing their moron, the more forceful we Democrats will have to become in order to stop.

I know we will have to be willing to be as treacherous and intimidating as the repubs for there to be a righteous outcome to this election.

8. Scared...and pi$$ed...into action
Soldiers don't die in action to give judges the power to determine the Presidency. Men and women died so we can vote.

People say, "This is the most important election." It is, but the next one is important too. Then the one after that, and then the one after that, and then...

EVERY ELECTION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION!

I'm taking the day off of work to drive people to the polling place. I don't have a choice. I don't care what people think - I'm not loony leftie, I'm an American dammit.

And I want my country back.

9. NOT like I was 4 years ago
Let me remind you that chimp was ahead of Gore by 13 to 15 points in the daily polls. I was scared shitless and then Gore WON. This time around, we have sooo much more going for us. This is the best I've felt in over 4 years!

14. In 1980 everybody "knew" Reagan would be the next president.
I have the same feeling this year. A failed incumbent out the door.

If it doesn't happen I will be amazed.
