Need help on this now. Weird mailing about voting by mail in FL.
A friend sent this to me. She knows how to get an absentee ballot in our county. This is extremely suspicious.

I will sent it to Roxanne Jekot as well, but I need to have some here check as well.

"Do you know why the Florida Democratic Party would be sending me on two recent occasions (the latest day-before-yesterday) applications to vote by mail?

They even called me about a week ago to see if I had gotten the first one.

The address to mail it to is:

Vote by Mail 2004
PO Box 2500
Ft Lauderdale, FL 33303-9976

The telephone number is 1-800-946-3504.

I have no intention of using this. I know how to get an absentee ballot.

I am suspicious of this and others getting this will probably use it.

I am going to send you a copy by email, to follow shortly."

I called the number, the guy was nice...Says he is in Florida under a program called Inbound....hired by the Democratic Party. He said for his safety, he could not tell me where he was.

If you know about this program let me know. My friend sent a couple scans of the brochure. I have contacted a lawyer friend here to see.

I trust no one right now. We know how to get an absentee ballot in our county, Polk, so why would he in Ft Lauderdale try to reach us.

Maybe this is fine, but I am on guard.

1. Thats not a Broward County Government PO Box Number
And since you can only send your mail in vote to the Supervisor of elections, I would not trust it.

I worked for Broward County and all of the P.O. boxes had longer numbers (I think that indicates the PO box sizes are LARGER).

2. Sounds suspicious. I was making phone calls for the Dems in
Polk. You have to go through the election people in your own county. We were not volunteering to send anyone anything. Suggest she forward a copy to the Democrats lawyers.

Also heard people were being called to vote over the phone. It's early voting time in Florida everyone! We can go anytime almost from last Monday until the day before election. Forget the phone call voting, forget everything - just get out and vote!

6. I contacted one of the election lawyers here just now.
Have not heard back yet. May be fine, but I thought we had to go through our own county as well......:tinfoilhat:

3. Smells like fraud. Best for no one to take a chance with these guys.
And they should be investigated too.

4. Here is scan of the first page.
Is this just a way to make it easier to get an absentee ballot. It may be ok, but I am just checking. It had her name on it,but I blocked it out. We have our absentee ballots, but we got one also...threw it out.

5. FRAUD! It should be reported at once! But then again, who would
be stupid enough to fall for that? Sounds like Repubs would be the ones sending them in....unless they're only sending them to Dems.

Keep us posted!

7. It does sound funny. Good catch and good idea to post here.
Im going to bet an answer will be found.

Why is there a private entity called Inbound working for the Democratic party? Is it a 527 or political action committee?

Seems a little weird.

8. 1-866-OUR-VOTE. CALL THEM NOW.
They are already taking complaints about election tampering, they need to know about this.

They have hundreds of lawyers ready for anything.

Please call them ASAP.

The phones are manned 24/7, I believe.

10. I tried, they closed the hotline at 7. Will try tomorrow.
I will also call the Democratic Party at state level. The one at National level never has a person, and never ever never ever returns calls.

11. Some other shenanigans in our county so far.
Just talked to our DFA leader here, a lawyer for the election. They are going to check this further...

Also heard that many were getting phone calls from someone offering to pick up their absentee ballots at their home.

One outrage: A woman walked into a precinct yesterday with a bunch of graphic abortion pictures....she was ranting to everyone in the place.

Golly, I can't wait until we have our turn as poll watchers. Should be most interesting.
