Keys to the Senate in...KENTUCKY?????

Has anyone else been following the Senate race in Kentucky? Incumbent Republican Jim Bunning seems to be cracking up...not showing up for debates, showing pictures of his opponent's "mansion" that his opponent doesn't own, saying not to vote for him because he looks like Saddam Hussein's sons...stuff like that.

This story from CNN doesn't tell the half of it...a recent poll showed Bunning(R) and Mongiardo(D) tied in what was supposed to be a cakewalk for Bunning. Opinion pages all over Kentucky are attacking Bunning. We've got a huge opportunity to pickup a "Red" seat for the next six years...but not if his campaign doesn't get some money...they haven't even hit 300K yet, while Bunning has 3M.

The skinny is that Bunning will resign for health reasons after he's elected and a more competent Republican will be named to replace him.
