Letter from U.S. Cellular regarding Sinclair
Yay!
******************************************

At U.S. Cellular, we strive to provide the very best in customer
satisfaction and we appreciate your recent inquiry regarding Sinclair
Broadcasting Group. As a non-partisan corporation, U.S. Cellular does not
take a position in the presidential race. However, we believe the program
"Stolen Honor" does not provide an optimal environment for our advertising.
Therefore, we have instructed Sinclair affiliates not to run U.S. Cellular
commercial spots two hours before, during and after the program's airing.
We value your opinion and hope our response addresses your concerns.

Sincerely,

John E. Rooney
President & CEO
U.S. Cellular

3. I thought Sinclair was going to show it commercial free anyway.
If that is true it will not make much difference.

4. It's surprising in itself they did anything, so 2 hours is a victory.
Plus, with this demand imagine the internal administration SINclair will have to expend to make sure these sponsors are taken care of. 62 programmers times untold hours to jusggle and rejuggle the line-up, going against Game 1 of the World Series, methinks they've got a tiger by the tail on this clusterfuck.

2. I don't live in a Sinclair market...but,
we need to list those sponsors who have bought time in the various markets during this broadcast...and they need to hear from us.
