'Axis of Evil' partner Iran endorses Bush for president
Updated at 20:10 on October 19, 2004, EST.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - The head of Iran's security council said Tuesday the re-election of President George W. Bush would be in Tehran's best interests, despite the administration's axis of evil label, accusations Iran harbours al-Qaida terrorists and threats of sanctions over the country's nuclear ambitions.

5. I guess they know they can bribe each other.
But Kerry would have no skeletons in the closet to rattle. Always fear the man you cannot corrupt.

So far, Bush has Russia and Iran's endorsement. Any word from Syria or Libya?

11. My guess

is Libya's on board with Bush. After all he's been getting especially friendly with them. My bet is Halliburton had something to do with that...

So let's see, what we have here is a bunch of corrupt dictators or religious fanatics backing Bush.

This article should be sent to every dumb shit that tries to claim Kerry has the endorsement of Al Quaeda and Islamic dictatorships. I'd like to see the freepers spinning this article!

6. What was the name of that scandal Kerry exposed? Something-Contra?
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 09:54 PM by NAO
Maybe the Iranians are still sore about Kerry exposing the sweet deal they made with Ronald Raygun to get illegal arms to the Contras.

With all the pardoned Iran/Contra criminals working in the Bush II administration, they might have been getting their hopes up for some "New Deals", done just "Fundamentalist Theocracy to Fundamentalist Theocracy".

"...If it wasn't for that meddling liberal Kerry, we'd still be making a killing in those illegal arms sales."

John Kerry, the man who uncovered Iran-Contra

From 1988, Chairing a Senate panel on terrorism, John Kerry continued to investigate Oliver North's contra ties

7. Un actualy Iran lot money there
Iraq was supported by both us and the Soviets and Iran was sanctioned (certainly nobody was selling arms to Iran , a sort of sanction)while Saddam borrowed $50 billion from Kuwait to buy all the arms in the world.

Iran paid $42.5 million in desperation for just $12.5 million worth of measly missles to try and defend against Sadams tanks. The $30 million profit was used by US to fund the contras.Iran only paid us the money and that was it (as a side they helped with hostages in Lebanon)

Iran lost money then but Kerry did nothing to hurt the Iranians.

Its Kerrys current policys that will hurt Iran. Kerry wants to take the "smashing success" and crown jewel of our Iraq policy , the brutal multi-lateral sanctions (ie force the world to starve Iran's struggling people to death)and impose them on Iran , and ruin their already bad but slowly recovering economy.

What is it with our nations leaders? Iran had over $200 billion damage after the devestation 8 year US backed invasion of their country by Hussein , and their economy was bleeding well into the mid 1990s now a slow semi recovery has allowed the people to make an average income of $2000 per year ($5400 purchasing power indexed to US purchasing power , twice that in Tehran the capital city with the lowest cost of living of any major city in the world)but Kerry wants to piss on that????

Ive had it with our leaders. Clinton presided over the killing of 1 million Iraqi children through brutal sanctions that prevents imports of civilian infrastructure related devices would have enabled the sewage system to be repaired thus malaria was rampant where as Iraq had the least malaria deaths of the entire Arab world before 1990.

Kerry wants to build on that legacy?
