bush is coming to town...
The idiot king himself is going to taint our city (Mason City, IA) with his presense tomarrow. The people who go have to show up between 7 and 9 a.m., at which point they lock the doors and then everyone waits for an hour and a half for a chance to glimpse the worst president in this country's history. No thanks. Its still disturbing that he'll be within a few miles of me when I'm at work. I wonder if I'll be able to feel his evil aura from there? :)

Clinton was here when he was President, and on the way to speak, he actually stopped his car and got out to shake hands with people just a few blocks from my house. I missed it too :( I'm still kicking myself for not going down there. Oh well.

1. You should go to the event..
Wear a shirt that says Protect my Civil Liberties, or better yet wear one that says I love the Constitution.

5. Its not so bad
The cold winters just make spring that much better :) I actually don't mind the winter though. The worst part is shoveling or scraping ice off your car at 7 in the morning. Plus I sleep much better in the cold than in the humidity of summer ;)

The last few years have been kind of odd anyway...the winters have been really mild. We went and played paint ball in November last year...the people who run it said they usually have everyone clustering around the heater that time of year.

It looks like this will be another cold winter though.
