MSNGOP has the misleading headline: "newspaper endorsements split over Bush & Kerry"
then you get into the actual page and the quote is: "statement from papers reflect divided electorate"
-So you go from thinking endorsments are split to being in reference to the satements in the papers, not the number of endorsements...
but wait, that ain't enough for them, they then go on to print a full 7 Bush endorsements before mentioning Kerry, printing only 4 of his, but mentioning that he has 6 previous endorsements, 7 more in Florida,
two in Ohio and 4 in Minnesota...witch leaves those of us who are afraid of adding numbers, with 32 endorsements for Kerry and 7 for Bush, according to this article...that reflects a 'split'.
oh yeah, and the Bush endorsements that got printing in the article come from such big circulation papers as: The Carlsbad Current-Argus, Carlsbad, N.M; Omaha World-Herald, Omaha, Neb.
Kerry got a nod from such unmentionalbles as: The New York Times; The Boston Globe; the Philadelphia Daily News, the Detroit Free Press, The Seattle Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Arizona Daily Star and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
