Even if it is done by hand, every vote should be counted. In fact, they could be counted by hand. People vote by precincts and usually the numbers are not so high as to prevent a manual count. Take the total of each precinct and add them together and you get the large numbers - in the millions. But it is not impossible to count all the votes. There are those that would want us to believe that we have to accept some degree of error in counting votes, but I disagree. Every vote can and should be counted.

1. Evidently, it's too much to ask that registration cards not be trashed
so Dems can't vote; because of 'Daily machine shananigans...'. So it's OK for a GOP funded group to fill out then destroy registration forms on Dems. I may never speak to my brother again.

2. It sounds so simple,
doesn't it? I keep saying, if third world countries can hold fair elections, WHY CAN'T WE??? I would rather go to using crayon on paper and handcounting, even if it took some time to get results, rather than go through all of the manipulation and cheating that we're facing this election.

In our precinct in 2000, the turnout was in the high eighty-some percent. That was about 2700 votes. Even if you had 100% turnout, you could handcount those votes in a few hours. It makes NO sense to me!!!!
