After reading Ron Suskind's article in the NYTimes magazine, I was more angry at Bush's Cabinet and his advisers than I was at him. They shielded his incompetency simply to maintain power, even if our country was destroyed in the process. It would be very easily to imagine them sitting silently as Bush prepared to drop a nuclear weapon on another country.
And how can we ever forget the lies of Rumsfeld and Powell? Rumsfeld knew exactly where the WMDs were located in Iraq, remember? And Powell going before the UN and lying us into an unnecessary war. Moreso than any other person, including Bush, Powell was responsible for us invading that country. Because he had credibility that crossed party lines at that time. I say that in past tense, "he had".
And how can we not believe that they are not protecting his incompetence from other very serious matters at this very moment, all with the intent to hold onto power.
