A Senior Speaks Out
I'm sitting here tonight in front of my computer depressed. There does not seem much hope for those who are retired. Kerry has to win, he is our only hope. As a senior, if the Shrub wins, we are duped. What do we do? I am actually doing an internet search where to live out of the US if the Shrub wins. He has destroyed America. If the Shrub wins, he can have my house, just let me out of the country. I'm totally devastated what is happening with the electoral system.

The President is sick, he needs help, will some one please require a physical and mental fitness check on this idiot before the election? I am totally frustrated and am afraid of the future.

Do you realize how many seniors feel the same as I do? Their children want to follow them too.

I am afraid if the Shrub wins, so afraid. Please let Kerry know the fear that many people feel. I am not alone.

1. Do not be afraid, get mad, get productive
Motivate your friends, make sure people have rides to the polls, do whatever coordination you can do. No job is too small. Do your part, and have faith.

3. I'm ready
My first thing is to get my daughter to the polls (for Kerry), then the rest of the day is to drive Kerry voters to the polls or do whatever the party wants me to do. I'm not sitting in my house on election day. We have a sick resident who needs special care, we need to get him that special care. He just scares (excuse my language) the shit out of me. I don't want to leave my family with a mess.

2. remember what Paul Wellstone said?
Stand up. Keep fighting. Stand up. Keep fighting.

One is only one until another one is found. Then there's TWO. We stand together.

If seniors need to share living space, then we'll do it. That's coming with the peak oil crisis anyway. People are going to have to live together in cooperative housing. Got an extra bedroom in your house? There's probably someone who feels just like you do who can share it with you and share expenses and protection.

Moving out of the U.S. will likely not bring safety or peace. There are a lot of options here even if he is elected if we are willing to pull together as like-minded people.

4. I do
have an extra bedroom and wouldn't mind having someone use it. I've thought about sharing, but don't know if someone can handle me. I've been a loner for quite some time. Of course, it is not me handling them, can they handle me?

The sad thing is, why do we need to do this after 30 years of work? Crap, have I told you how much I hate the pukes? It is not so much the pukes, it is the neocons, the shrubs. They all need to be shipped to Iraq!!
