I swear these guys got some inside scoop on whats going to go down the next few weeks.

They seemed to be signaling that the gloves will come off and it will get seriously nasty during these last weeks of the campaing.

It was almost like Shields had inside info on some PR hit planned for Teresa Kerry...he sort of hinted at it as a "hypothetical".

Shields was way off base tonight. All that high road moralistic crap about Cheney's daughter was ridiculous.

for I remember Kerry saying that if Bush brought family into it, then everything would be on the table, all rules were off.

I wonder if the whole Cheney family deal was to goad them into saying something nasty about the Kerry family, just so Kerry could kick Bush's ass in public, fully justified...

They said we're entering phase three, the nasty mudslinging, gloves-off, truly ugly part of the campaign. Here's how they divide it up:
1. conventions
2. debates
3. nasty, desperate campaigning
4. voter turnout on election day.

I think they forgot one or two:
5. media calling the winner prematurely
6. protracted vote count
7. SCOTUS decision
