The Kerry Tidal Wave is on it's way!
I not only live in a blue state, my county is about as blue as they get.

Montgomery County, Maryland.

An article in the local (free) paper reports that "Democrats have gained on Republicans by a nearly 5-1 margin...this year and 26-1 since the 2000 presidential election, according to elections board data." 26 to 1 since the 2000 election!!!

"Driven by anger over the war in Iraq and registration drives by more than a dozen affiliated groups, Democrats have added a net 18,776 voters to the rolls since December; Republicans have added 3,765."

"Democrats now have 53.8 percent of the electorate in the county, up from 53.2 percent four years ago, while Republicans have 25.8 percent, down from 28 percent."

"Paul Oberdorf, 57, of Olney, said he has never registered to vote before, but has been motivated by "the lying and the cheating and the state of our government today," to vote against Bush. Oberdorf said he served six years in the Navy during the Vietnam era, and said Bush went to Iraq under false pretenses."

The Democrats around here are PISSED!!! They were pretty apathetic in 2000, but they've seen what Bush has done to our country and they are fighting back. Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers, yard signs, pins - everywhere.

3. Cool. I just wish my street went along.
I live in Bethesda, which I thought was one of the bluest places in an already blue county. Unfortunately, on my street (about 25 houses) there are three B/C 04 signs, two cars with Bush bumper stickers (no lawn signs) and my Kerry Edwards sign.

Is that a bad reason to move?

9. That's just it!
They don't look like Bush politicos. Two are these really creepy families and two are these whiter than white young families who bought the biggest houses on the street (after tearing down the old ones).

Kerry/Edwards RULES here. I just saw a whole bunch of new K/E lawn signs as I was driving up Colesville Rd (and one lone B/C sign).

4. This is the story...
that the polls don't tell. As long as Republican hijinxs are anticipated and plans are in place, this election won't be close. May this be the trend across all the nation!

5. Can you have them waft a little bit of what they're smelling
over here toward Ohio? I know there are lots of great Dems who live around here, but the Repubs in my part of Ohio seem to have the patent on stupid. It's like they're in a big stupid race to be stupider than the Republicans anywhere else in the U.S. I'll bet at least four or five of the twelve people over at FReepville who have mulitiple accounts registered so they can appear to overwhelmingly agree with each other live within a hundred miles of me.
