Is Nov. 2004 a recall of Bush?
Edited on Mon Jan-12-04 03:07 PM by mb7588a
or are we going to have a real election with 50/50 competition and dirty politics confrontation? That would sure be a lot more fun! :bounce:

This is definitely a danger of the ABB movement. We may get a democrat, but he may prove to only be a demagogue and not a leader. (NOT flamebait)

Yes I realize we can't recall someone who wasn't elected in the first place, but you know what I mean.

3. All of our candidates appeal more to the hatred
and damages of Bush than to better ideas on the issues. Not saying they don't appeal also to issues, but Bush hate is the best fuel they have. It's a very different kind of demagoguery, imo.

2. Demagogue or not...
We don't have a leader now. Even if your proposed scenario occurred, which I don't think it will, it's still better than what we have.

4. Looks Bad Now
Things are looking worse than they did just a couple of weeks ago. Dean is looking psycho, Kerry looks desperate and lost, Gep is a one-state shot (after Iowa, he's not in the top three anywhere) and Clark just seems ridiculous (he will guarantee no more terrorist attacks if he is president)

5. The higher you set the bar, the less your chances are
of getting what you want.

I'm personally in favor of this Not Bush guy.
