3. Not sure. Someone one another board said it was tonight
so I got the info second hand.

Let me see if I can verify this, just to be sure.

5. OKAY. Here's the INFO,

Keyes, Obama scheduled to debate in Springfield

October 12, 2004 (Springfield, Ill.) — The first formal debate between U-S Senate candidates Alan Keyes and Barack Obama is scheduled tonight in Springfield.

The hour-long debate will take place at seven o'clock at the Old State Capitol in downtown Springfield. (It will be broadcast on most stations affiliated with Illinois Radio Network.)

It's the first of three scheduled debates. On Thursday, October 21st, the candidates will meet again in Chicago (for a debate sponsored by WLS TV and the League of Women Voters.)

And the last debate will be Tuesday, October 26th, in Chicago. (That debate is sponsored by W-T-T-W and the City Club of Chicago.)

Several polls have shown Obama with a commanding lead going into the November Second election.
