Sinclair program VS World Series Game #1
Edited on Tue Oct-12-04 02:46 PM by Born_A_Truman
Game 1 of the World Series is airing on Fox Network @ 7:30pm Saturday, October 23rd.

If any of those Sinclair affiliates are FOX, they have a contractual obligation to air the World Series game.

1. So when is that mandated documentary supposed to air?
I thought I heard it was to be 10/22, but I'm not sure.

4. It was posted as Oct. 23rd, 8pm.
But that might have been before Sinclair figured out they'd be pre-empting the World Series.

3. world series game 1
Edited on Tue Oct-12-04 02:47 PM by eddiebrowns
Thought about that last night when I heard that my local fox station would be running the "news :puke: program" from 11-midnight. So, I started hoping for an extra inning game which would maybe push that back until 1 or 2. Do you think Murdoch would appreciate some of the game being pre-empted so that they could push their agenda???

7. You're RIGHT! That's only second to prempting the Super Bowl!
This started out being a bit frightening and very angering, but it's starting to turn somewhat funny! I thought people would be pissed that they were prempting their sitcoms, but this is worse!!!

8. Oh the choices!
Telling your family they have to watch a political propaganda program instead of the opening game of the 2004 World Series...

PRICELESS!

11. On that night, everyone put on their a/c and cause a national power outage
It will work two fold, one it kills sinclairs attempt to discredit Kerry, and it shows that the country it still woefully unprepared for a major outage, thus blaming moron. LOL

13. Threat averted!
MUAAAHHAHAHAHAHA!

That's delicious. Hmm...World Series...or a "documentary"... just cannot decide, just cannot decide!

Even if they show it after the World Series, still not a big deal.

Cool.
