ZINGERS for Wednesday night - Post 'em here!
OK, folks. Let's see what we can do.

Here's mine:

"Mr. President, in last week's debate you said that you made no mistakes in going to Iraq. You should know that the first step in recovery is admitting that you have a problem."

Go get 'em!

2. that's a good zinger, but unfortunately it would backfire on Kerry
by recalling W's alcoholic past it would cause the media, which really does influence popular opinion, to say Kerry hit below the belt.

"WAR, DEBT, RECESSION AND POLLUTION. THAT IS GEORGE W. BUSH'S VISION FOR THE FUTURE - AND WHAT A HIDEOUS VISION IT IS....."

6. Bush is programmed for this one:
It's the people's money, not the government's money.

You think the government knows how to spend people's money better than they do. I trust the people over the government every time.

8. Then Kerry should answer
it's the people's debt. He should explain it in terms of household budgets -- when you take a cash advance on your Visa, it's "your money," but it's also your bill. The country has borrowed itself into a situation where foreign governments own too large a share, and where tax dollars are being wasted in interest on that debt alone.

13. Bush has increased the deficit more(as a % of GDP even) than the New Deal
Put that in your pipe and smoke it. We have gone from a 2.5% of GDP surplus to a 4.5% of GDP deficit, a swing of 7%, large than the swing of the New Deal.

7. Mr. President, you've had 6 months to come up with even 1 mistake.
You were asked in April to name one mistake you've made during your Presidency, and you couldn't come up with an answer. Last week, you were asked again, and you still couldn't come up with an answer.

HOW MUCH LONGER DO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO ADMIT THAT YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING... ANYTHING... WRONG?

10. I bush says again,
"now he is a fiscal consevative" Kerry should respond "well someone has to be one and it sure isn't you or the Republican Senate or Congress, you guys are spending like drunken sailors."

And when he says Kerry will raise everyones taxes because he has proposed 2.2 trillion spending but only pays for 600 billion with his over 200,000 dollar tax increase, point out Bush proposed 3 trillion with more tax cuts. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A18876-2004Sep13.html

23. Kerry's rebuttal on this should go like
Mr President, all of sudden you sound more like a liberal and pre-election Santa Claus all in one, your program is more liberal than the real one you referring to. Think this will put bush dummy out of words. You cannot always feed his the answer he expected, then he would know how to answer. Have to come up with things out his little box.

21. *s flip-flops on the war: WMDs, WMD program-related activities, then
Saddam is a madman, then it's nation-building (which he said we would not do) then it was spreading freedom and democracy, and now it's back to spiining the WMD thing and the non-existant Iraq/al Qaeda connection. Also: From his speech aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (the infamous prancing-in-a-flight-suit-war-ZERO-commander-in-thief)

"This nation thanks all the members of our coalition who joined in a noble cause. We thank the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Australia, and Poland, who shared in the hardships of war."
He calls this later "a broad coalition."
Yes, let's not forget Poland!

"Today, we have the greater power to free a nation by breaking a dangerous and aggressive regime. With new tactics and precision weapons, we can achieve military objectives without directing violence against civilians. No device of man can remove the tragedy from war; yet it is a great moral advance when the guilty have far more to fear from war than the innocent."
Oh really?? Anybody see the images from foreign news broadcasts (since our 'Lib'rul Media here in 'Murka is too chickeshit to show them) of the Iraqi civilians maimed and killed? Of the children born with horrendous birth defects due to the depleted uranium used in cluster bombs?

"The liberation of Iraq is a crucial advance in the campaign against terror. We've removed an ally of al Qaeda, and cut off a source of terrorist funding. And this much is certain: No terrorist network will gain weapons of mass destruction from the Iraqi regime, because the regime is no more. (Applause.)
In these 19 months that changed the world, our actions have been focused and deliberate and proportionate to the offense. We have not forgotten the victims of September the 11th - the last phone calls, the cold murder of children, the searches in the rubble. With those attacks, the terrorists and their supporters declared war on the United States. And war is what they got."
But no, nobody in this administration tried to make a connection between Iraq and al Qaeda, how could the Lib'rul 'Murkin Media tell such whoppin' lies????

"Any person, organization, or government that supports, protects, or harbors terrorists is complicit in the murder of the innocent, and equally guilty of terrorist crimes."
Gee, does that include Israel?

"The United States upholds these principles of security and freedom in many ways - with all the tools of diplomacy, law enforcement, intelligence, and finance. We're working with a broad coalition of nations that understand the threat and our shared responsibility to meet it. The use of force has been - and remains - our last resort."
Golly, where to start... 'diplomacy...' 'broad coalition...' 'last resort...' and hmmm....'law enforcement...' thought that was what he was just bashing Kerry about, but gee, I must be mistaken. How does he lie to us? Let us count the ways; we'll be here until the next millenium.

"Other nations in history have fought in foreign lands and remained to occupy and exploit. Americans, following a battle, want nothing more than to return home. And that is your direction tonight."
So what are we still doing there, if not occupying and exploiting? OH yeah, NATION-BUILDING...something Candidate Bush said in 2000 that we would not do. FLIP-FLOP! FLIP-FLOP! (Simply one among hundreds.)

C'mon, John! JUMP ON THIS LITTLE CHICKENHAWK SACK OF SHIT, CALL HIM ON HIS LIES AND MISTAKES AND POSITION CHANGES! LET'S PUT THIS THING IN THE BAG!

29. The end-all-be-all...
"After the last two debates, Mr. Bush spent his time on the campaign trail responding to all the debate questions -- just a few days too late. Perhaps for THIS debate, Mr. Bush might like to answer the questions on the spot."

If JK felt like it, pause and expand: "I might even be pursuaded to give him 5-10 minutes to run back and ask Carl Rove the answers."

30. Kerry's gotta tie in the vacation time
"Mr. Bush is asking Americans for four more years. But during the last four years, at times of war, sacrifice and recession, he spent 40% of his time on vacation and during 2002 and 2004, when he wasn't on vacation, he was either campaigning for himself and his party or meeting with corporate lobbyists to determine his policies. So luckily, Americans have a choice -- they can choose the vacation President -- or a President they know will be working for them every single day."

35. FUZZY LABELS - WHO'S A LIBERAL NOW?
Kerry should bat away the "most liberal voting record in the senate" with something like, "did you use the same formula to calculate my record as you did the cost of the Iraq war?" -- then hit it back at him with, "as I said in the last debate, I don't believe in labels - however, this President is an archconservative on issues where I am liberal since he is against civil rights; against holding corporations accountable and for putting machine guns on the street; and he is ultraliberal on issues where I am conservative: such as balancing the budget; not making America like the world's police; protecting jobs in America. A simpler way of saying this is that Bush is just plain wrong on almost all the issues."

If Kerry said that, steam would shoot out of Bush's earpieces like yosemite fucking sam!
