Why does the Kerry camp not talk about the PNAC and the Neo-Conservatives in the administration. I have been trying this talking point out on few people as of late and I always get a positive response out of it.
I went to go drop my rent check off to my landlord's brother. He had a Bush/Cheney sign in his front yard, so, I asked him "Why are you voting for Bush?". His response was "I am a veteran, Kerry lied, Bush is going over there to get the terrorist. What are you for Kerry?" In response i said "I am not just against Bush but all the Neo-Conservatives agenda within' this administration." He said, "I'm a conservative." I said "Great but you are not a Neo-Conservative are you?". He looked at me with a puzzled look. Then I went on to explain about PNAC and how they had an agenda to invade Iraq well before the Bush admin took office and who the Neos are within' the admin. He asked, "Can this be proved?" I said "why most certainly just look up Project for a new American century" I also added, "Pay close attention to the members signatures at the bottom of the letters. You will notice a bunch of familiar names form this admin." I left at that because I did not have much time to go into much more than that.
I ran this issue and the article "The New Pentagon Papers" across one of friends that is staunchly conservative. His response was, (copied from his email) "Regarding the links you sent me, I checked out the newamericancentury.org and it looked okay. I'd like to learn more about what the project founder's (William something?) experience and qualifications are as I see he has written a couple of books on foreign policy/foreign issues. I didn't read everything, but what I did read was pretty interesting.
The second link you sent me I couldn't make it through the whole article. It's obvious the woman who wrote the article is so partisan that it seems her hatred of so-called "neo-conservatives" is what prompted her to tell her "story", moreso than any obligation she has to the American people. I, for one, don't give a crap what she thinks of the Bush administration and who knows if what she alleges is even true? Whatever."
I forgot I mentioned the fact that Richard Perle and Doug Feith were lobbyist for Israel to my landlords brother?
Therefore I wonder why they (Kerry Camp) are not using this if I get reactions like this
