Have you seen the "W" signs in your neighborhoods? The yard signs
Edited on Mon Oct-11-04 09:03 AM by KoKo01
with a large "W" die cut out of the American Flag. They have sprouted up here in NC over the weekend.

Couldn't this be considered Defacing the American Flag? Cutting a "W" out sure seems to me to be something Repugs would scream about if Kerry did the same thing with a big "K."

1. Yes. But as with everything else with these thugs, the ends
justify the means. Why do they hate America?

6. lol's good for you! Do you know where your brother got the sign?
I think they are really offensive given how much the RW'ers care about "their" Flag. I couldn't find a pix of it on the Bush Campaign site, so I wondered if it's one of the 527 Groups putting them out? Do you know where your brother got it?

5. None in My Neighborhood Yet
I live in a covenent-protected community. No one is allowed to put up yard signs more than two weeks before an election. Only one sign per candidate per yard. And they must be taken down 48 hours after the election.

This Friday is my usual day off. And I plan to go to the local Democratic headquarters to get my signs that day.

7. doesn't the W look like some sort of fascist symbol?
Just picture the W insignia patch prominently stiched onto the shoulders of millions of brown shirts.
