Anyone else waiting for Bill Clinton to make an appearance with Kerry?
I'm guessing last week in October. :)

1. I'd love it but last I heard he won't be ready to go until Mid-Nov
I'd be devastated if he came out to early and something happened to him.

Maybe they could do something from his home.

2. He has his big Library openning on Nov. 18th, so he has to be...
..healthy enough for that...but I'd love to see him on camera speaking about current events, its been too long

3. On the day of his surgery,
I predicted that he'd make "a triumphant surprise return to the campaign trail" in the last week of October. I hope that it's a huge photo-op, with the whole ticket and their families and the Clintons all on stage together. And why not add the Carters, and the other primary candidates. It'd sorta be a pep rally in the final week of the election!

5. Heard on NPR today that he may be able to start 1 week b4 the election.
If not, he will do video. God I hope he's OK, he is the Dem. Rock & Roll star. We need him.

7. It would be great, but I wouldn't count on it.
I had a professor return to class about 2 months after a quadruple bypass, and he was still obviously weak and slow. I don't think he was as healthy as Clinton going in, but he just wasn't even close to being the same person for several more months.

I don't want Clinton to make an appearance if he is still frail or if it would compromise his recovery.

I do hope he surprises me, though.

10. Yeah, I want him to get down to Arkansas and sew that one
up for K/E. It is currently a tie, according to electoral-vote.com

9. I love Bill Clinton!

I saw the big dog in late June this summer; he seemed to be in his prime in every way. It was outdoors, in full sunlight(and blazing heat), and I saw him from a distance of about a foot. He was so handsome. I mean, he looked better than any photo I've ever seen, and downright slim! He appeared to be healthy, but of course appearances can be deceiving in that regard. I was very, very impressed with the way he spoke so intently against this administration and so thoughtfully. He had no notes, and he was a class act in every way. He came out to a rock star's welcome, and he thanked the firefighters, who were manning the barbeque and the jazz band first, before he spoke to us. I was just incredibly impressed, and I hope he is well enough to support Kerry in the final days before the election without jeopardizing his health. God, I love that man!

at least record some TV spots for Kerry for God's sakes, he doesn't even have to leave the comfort of his Chappaqua estate.

12. Last minute GOTV rallies
Much as I love the Big Dog, he'd energize the Repug base probably as much as he'd help Kerry now.

*'s people are not energized this election, and looking at the first moron, I understand why.

I could see Clinton appearing in democrat areas of swing states the last two or three days prior to the election pushing the people to vote and doing more good than actually campaigning with Kerry.

How about a TV ad featuring Clinton, saying:

We had eight years of peace and prosperity
I left a 200 billion dollar surplus
All destroyed by * and his misguided policies in just 4 years
Can we afford 4 more years of this?
