It's up to the young people.....
If we had only the older and likely voters to depend on to get rid of Bush, I would not be very hopeful. It is the young voters that bring about generational change. I'm hoping this election is one of those generational changes. The young people have always stepped forward as history demanded. I believe it is going to happen this time also.

1. It is much better than that
The undecided voters will vote for Kerry

At least 70% of the newly registered voters will vote for Kerry. Incidently, they aren't even included in the poll numbers

The 18 - 24 year olds will vote for Kerry

The older population will vote for Kerry

Kerry will win by at least 5%

There will be a lot of embaressment on the media, press, and polling institutions when they see on Nov 3, 2004 how big of a margin Kerry wins by

Remember we have the issues

People know that bush will appoint justices like Scalia and Thomas to the Supreme Court

bush will limit stem cell research, and work through the Supreme Court to overturn Row V Wade

environment
importation of durgs from Canada
Social Security
Medicare
offshoring of jobs

This year we own the issues, and John Kerry will be the next President of the United States

2. I so hope you're right!
Obviously, I hope it because we need to dethrone this regime and start rebuilding some sanity into our government.

But another reason is, we've become so used to our own mythology, that the polling is always right, we think there can never be another "Dewey vs. Truman" outcome, the press will never be so grossly mistaken again...

Hogwash. Polls are both art and science, and as has been noted here and elsewhere, the ground is shifting under the feet of the pollsters -- and could, at least theoretically, make a difference and mean that the polls are missing the trend. They aren't polling people who have only cell phones (which may be a significant percentage of younger voters), and, they aren't polling newly registered voters.

Here's hoping!

3. I am a young person and I vote for Kerry because Chimp is just to stupid
I'm 23 and why do I or my kids have to pay for his screw up! Well that is if I had any kids. Bush doesn't love anybody except himself!
